A Little Story...
In 2015, my wife bought two German Shepherds. Another vivacious puppy joined us in 2017, named Tosca. When she was four, however, her weight dropped by half and she could not stand. Our vet expected the worst but we persisted with treatment. Miraculously, Tosca recovered.
Her suffering made me realise just why I love my German Shepherd - and inspired this film and its title, a 4K cinema documentary I´m currently shooting for multi-platform release. This will tell the stories of several different German Shepherds and their human companions.

I'm a British documentary maker with over 30 years' experience. Along with Tosca and Nanouk, our other German Shepherd, I'm now filming a diverse selection of this unique breed in the UK and Spain. Why I Love My German Shepherd will interweave their stories as love affairs between humans and their fur babies. It will convey the beauty, ability and magic of the German Shepherd – and the laughter and tears created by its unbreakable bond with people.
